The Billing contract has a new ‘Type’ Field which has options to select the Billing Contract Type. Two options are ‘Recurring’ and ‘Item Based’.
The ‘Type’ field value cannot be edited once the Billing Contract is created.
‘End Date’ will not be needed while creating the Item Based Billing Contract. Also, the Renewal Section will be not available for this billing Contract.
Please note, for the Recurring Type Contracts, End Dates will be mandatory and Renewal dates will be available on the form. The system will give a warning message when the end date and start date are changed, then the end date should always be greater than the start date.
Billing Schedules on the Subscription form for the Item-based Contracts.
The billing schedule for this contract will be driven by the subscription.
On the subscription form, there will be a new tab called “Billing schedules”.
This tab will be visible on the subscription if the ‘Type’ on the Billing Contract form is ‘Item based’.

Please note, if the ‘Type’ is Recurring on the Billing Contract form then the Billing Schedules’ Tab will be visible on the Billing Contract level and not on the Subscription.
