Reading Time: 2 minutes

We are excited to announce the latest release of Work 365, designed to provide Microsoft CSPs with enhanced flexibility and control over their business operations. This update introduces powerful new features, improvements, and fixes that empower CSPs to manage their businesses on their terms.

Major Feature Updates:

  1. Enhanced Self-Service Portal: The latest release of the Self-Service Portal for Microsoft CSPs leverages all the advancements in Power Pages. It’s faster, snappier, and easy to customize and extend. In addition to the platform enhancements, it’s built from the ground up with the end-user in mind, reducing complexities and allowing them to make changes intuitively. It’s cognitive of Microsoft’s NCE guidelines and is now “provisioning aware.”
  2. Product Explorer:
    • The Product Explorer feature gives CSPs greater control over discovering Microsoft’s entire product line across segments, product types, currencies, and markets. Partners can control their product catalog, enabling them to navigate and manage their offerings with ease. This tool streamlines updating and customizing product information to align with customer needs. (Status: dev done, pending testing).
  3. Advanced Billing Flexibility:
    • Offset Billing Days: We’ve introduced the ability to generate invoices on a customized schedule before or after specific offset days. This added flexibility allows CSPs to better align billing with their business processes.
  4. Provisioning Control Enhancements:
    • Partial Sales Order Provisioning: CSPs can now partially provision sales orders, giving them more control over order management.
    • Automatic Provisioning Hold: This feature allows CSPs to hold automatic provisioning when necessary, providing additional control over their provisioning processes.
  5. Azure and Savings Plan Optimizations:
    • Ongoing efforts are being made to optimize Azure + Savings Plan reservations, ensuring more efficient usage and billing.
  6. TD Synnex StreamOne Ion Integration:
    • Work 365 now integrates with the latest StreamOne Ion API’s. Partners can manage customers and subscriptions, provision license changes within Work 365, and synch these changes with StreameOne.

AdminHub and New Settings:

  1. Provisioning Controls:
    • Deactivate Subscriptions No Longer Visible: This new setting automatically deactivates subscriptions that are no longer available through the Microsoft CSP APIs, reducing the risk of billing issues.
  2. Billing and Product Defaults:
    • Honor Commitment End Dates: This update ensures billing aligns with the original commitment terms, helping CSPs maintain consistency in their billing practices.
    • Auto-renew and Display on Portal: New settings allow CSPs to create products with auto-renew and display options directly on the portal, making managing their offerings easier.

Fixes and Improvements:

  • Azure Reservations Billing: We’ve addressed issues where Azure reservations continued billing even after deactivation, ensuring that billing only occurs for active services.

Conclusion:

This release reflects Work 365’s commitment to providing Microsoft CSPs with the tools they need to operate with greater autonomy, precision, and confidence. We encourage you to explore the new features and updates to maximize your CSP operations.
